After lunch we moved around the bend and found the Duncan's Mills bridge. After passing under the bridge, we decided to return to Jenner. Much to our surprise, very heavy, gusting winds from down river battered us and raised the swells and chop to whitecaps. We were nearly unable to make any progress down river. After twenty minutes of this we finally reached the beach we had lunch at and prevailed on a camper to take us by car back down to Jenner to retrieve our vehicles. Actually, during the process the wind died back down to manageable levels and I'm sure we could have made it back down river on our own. Oh well.
